Previous Dates

This is an informal workshop lasting 1 and half hours. It offers practical experience of signing as part of Total Communication (sign supported speech). We will work through a basic vocabulary of everyday signs and the alphabet, both singularly and joining these into short sentences. There will be the opportunity to find out any extra signs that you would like to know - please come with topics in mind. This workshop is for people with communication difficulties and their supporters. It would be suitable for new learners and people who want to brush up on signing skills (e.g. people with learning disabilities who may have learnt Makaton signs previously, parents of children with special needs, etc).

Please phone or email to book a place on a workshop.
